Our price includes all loose deck items such as mooring ropes, fenders, mooring pins, water hoses and reels, electric cables for shore supply, paint, two bicycles, lifejackets, flags, satellite dish, flower containers etc. Internally we include various engine spares and extensive spares for all other equipment on board, binoculars, charts and guides for Belgium, Holland and France, basic items of crockery and cutlery, Duvets and pillows, various lamps, wheelhouse mounted chronometer and barometer, whatever diesel fuel is in the various tanks and all furniture and non personal effects. It would be possible to walk on board with your personal effects and sail with no further expenditure. We can provide up to five days attendance for tuition and general familiarisation with the vessel as required by new owners. We can arrange for the vessel to be slipped for your surveyors inspection in Belgium or Holland but the shipyard costs and the costs of that inspection would be to your account, however, any defects that required repair would be to our account. We slipped the vessel at De Schroef shipyard near Sas van Gent in Holland in March 2011 for a hull survey to satisfy the EU Directive on Technical Requirements for Inland Waterways Vessels (TRIWV) which is compulsory for vessels over 20m LOA. No repair work was required by the hull surveyor and two coats of Hempanol bitumen substitute was applied to the hull. A full ultrasonic hull survey was carried out and this is available for inspection. The ship has also completed it's safety survey and we have obtained the full TRIWV community certificate from the Dutch authorities renewable in 1918 at which time our insurance company would require another hull survey so the certificate can be renewed at the same time. The insurance premium for the hull and contents is currently approx £670 per annum The TRIWV certificate is not valid for the German Rhine and Dutch Waal. To navigate the Dutch Waal would require engine room fire insulation and a larger anchor which is a Dutch Waterpolitie regulation, however, you can avoid this river and are allowed to cross it to access other navigations. To navigate the German Rhine you would also need a pilot or pilots license for the German Rhine and would require the installation of a collision bulkhead. The existing Dutch certificate could then be upgraded after speed and manoeuvrability tests by a qualified surveyor. Harmonie is at her permanent mooring in Eeklo, near Gent in Belgium and may be viewed by appointment. This is a permanent secure mooring with water and electricity, paid until 1st January 2014, which can be transferred to the new owner. The current fee for a further 12 months mooring is €800 and you would be required to pay a fee of €160 to join the yacht club plus VAT. Price for vessel lying Belgian Port: £155,000 and is under offer payable 10% prior to slipping the vessel and 90% prior to hand over. The vessel is not subject to VAT. The 10% deposit is not refundable unless the order is cancelled due to the cost of any repairs not being met by the owners. Subject to an agreed payment to cover the cost of diesel oil used, the vessel can be delivered to any inland European mainland port or at an additional cost to the UK.
