Errol Garner (1921 - 1977) was one of the greatest jazz pianists of his era and could not read a note of music. He also composed music and perhaps his most well known piece was 'Misty' which is featured below. Clint Eastwood made it famous in his 1971 film 'Play Misty for Me'
I remember going to see him live in concert at a full Edinburgh Usher Hall in about 1975 and being impressed with his virtuoso performance.
The track of Misty on the player below is from a compilation of tracks issues in 1990 by Polygram called Gitanes Jazz. The arrangement on the score is not the same as the recording.
