The Doors were an American Rock Group from Los Angeles formed in 1965 by poet and vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboard player Ray Manzarek, guitarist Rob Krieger and drummer John Densmore.
Most of their songs were the result of putting musical ideas together in the recording studio to poems written by Morrison. LA Woman was the last one to be recorded in 1971 after which Morrison went off to live in Paris with his girlfriend where he died of unexplained causes aged 27.
Morrison became a bit of a cult hero and was buried in the poets corner of Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris where his grave has become a bit of a tourist attraction. His girlfriend died a few years later also aged 27.
The track below of LA Woman is from a re-release of the album which was remastered and include parts that were not included in the original recording
